Although the Historical Society was formed in 1997, a building was not purchased until the Summer of 2001. Volunteers are working hard to raise funds for the renovations needed in order to safely store and preserve records, hold general meetings and sponsor events.

Due to the lack of secure space to house documents the Society has deferred the collection of records until renovations are complete. The society has some records available and is in the process of building a database of contacts and references. Please feel free to send your inquires, however, do not be disappointed if we suggest you contact another source if we do not have information on hand.
